George Leroy Koehn Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

George Leroy Koehn, age 79 of Dayton, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022, at Rhea Medical Center in Dayton. He was born in Harbor Beach, MI, on February 4, 1943, the son on the late George Koehn, Sr. and Mildred (Pardick) Koehn. George lived in Dayton since 2012 and previously lived in Sarasota, FL, and Harbor Beach MI. He was a graduate of Harbor Beach Community High School, was employed as a driver for Coca Cola in Michigan for more than 40 years, and also managed apartments in Sarasota, FL. He served his country in the US Army in Germany, was a member of the VFW, and was of the Lutheran faith. He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Delores (Woycieshowski) Koehn of Dayton; his two sons, Michael (Beth) Koehn of Fort McCoy, FL, and Mark Koehn of Sarasota, FL; his two brothers, Leroy (Bernadette) Koehn and Bill (Sherry) Koehn, both of Oregon; and his two sisters, Esther Howard and Florence (Rick) Stein, both of Harbor Beach, MI. Graveside services with military honors for George will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. John Fields officiating.
