Frances Nowell Kartz, age 79 of Dayton Mountain, passed away early Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at her home. She was born in Bronx, NY, on December 23, 1942, the daughter of the late Frank and Florence (Richter) Nowell. She was also preceded in death by her four sisters, Doris Dullaghan, Irene Flock, Elaine Nugent, and Audrey Hatzelhoffer. Frances was raised in New York City, NY, lived in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, from 1968 to 1998, and lived on Dayton Mountain since 1998. She was a graduate of St. Vincent Ferrer High School in Bronx and was the office manager of a medical clinic in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She was a member of St. Bridget Catholic Church in Dayton. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Frank Kartz, and her son, John Kartz, both of Dayton Mountain. Funeral mass for Frances will be celebrated on Friday, March 4, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Dayton with Rev. Father Jim Vick officiating.
