Edna Rose Sims, age 93 of Chattanooga passed away Wednesday July 27, 2016 at her home. She was born September 30, 1922 in Middle Valley to the late Samuel and Blanche (Miller) Rawlston. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Otis Howard Sims of Graysville, her son Bobby Sims of Sale Creek, her sisters Dorothy Williams, Clara Mae Rawlston, Mary Rawlston all of Middle Valley, as well as Rita Barger of Graysville and her brother Lamar Rawlston of Whitwell.
Edna was a long time resident of Graysville, and was a member of Wayside Baptist Church.
Edna is survived by her son, Bill (Geraldine) Sims of Graysville, her daughter Charlotte Mason of Chattanooga, her brother John Rawlston of Sale Creek, in addition to 9 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service for Edna will be held Saturday at 1:00 P.M. She will be laid to rest in Rhea Memory Gardens.
