Barbara Louallen Pope Dayton Barbara Aileen Louallen Pope age 81 of Dayton died Monday evening, August 3, 2015 in Chattanooga. Barbara was born in Dayton, on September 4, 1933 to the late Barnett and Gladys (Smith) Brady. Barbara lived in Rhea County all of her life where she retired from Robinson Manufacturing as an inspector. She enjoyed birds, flowers, and fishing. She was a member of Solomon’s Porch. She is survived by her husband Don Pope, two sons, Mayor Gary (Bonnie) Louallen and Pastor Mack (Pastor Beverly) Louallen both of Dayton, a sister Kathleen Matherley of Dayton, three grandchildren, Melissa (Scott) Gravitt, Amy Louallen Stinnett and Jonathan (Jennifer) Louallen, four great-grandchildren, Jackson Gravitt, McKenzie Gravitt, Reagan Louallen and Abby Stinnett. She is also survived by step grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Pat, Jeff, Ryan, Cinnamon and Amanda Skinner and Ally (Montana) Grace and Olivia Grace. Funeral services for Barbara will be held Thursday evening at 6:00pm in the funeral home chapel with her sons officiating.
