Anna Sneed

Anna Melissa Sneed, age 93, of Dayton died Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Life Care Center of Dayton. She was born November 9, 1917 in Decatur, AL to the late Jess T. and Edna (Farrar) Mize. She was also preceded in death by her husband Havard M. Sneed and grandson Jeffrey Sneed.
A resident of Dayton most of her life, Anna was a homemaker and a member of the White Oak Baptist church.
She is survived by her sons Leon Sneed and Eddie Sneed and daughter Winona (Leon) Long all of Dayton, brother George Mize of Dayton, sisters Zeta Mize and Martha (Wendell) Dotson both of Dayton and Sadie Patton of Delaware, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Graveside funeral services for Anna will be Friday at 2:00 pm at Rhea Memory Gardens in Dayton with Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald officiating.
