Larry Hineman

Larry Hineman, age 72 of Hixson died Friday afternoon, January 20, 2012 at Erlanger Medical Center. He was born in Soddy Daisy on October 9, 1939 the son of the late William and Martha (Payne) Hineman. He was also preceded in death by his wife, the former Denna Sneed and his daughter, Robin Styers.
Larry was a graduate of the Soddy Daisy High School, class of 1958. He served his country with the US Army and then was employed for over 40 years at Mueller’s. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and sci fi.
He is survived by his children, Cassie Womack of Soddy Daisy, Connie Buzbee of VanBuren, AR., Tanya “Plum” (Peter) Yearsley and Lebron Hineman both of Hixson and Nick Hineman of Lafayette, GA. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and his ten brothers and sisters, Jan Hinton, Louise (Billy Don) Roberts, Tom (Darlene) Hineman, David (Pat) Hineman, Stanley (Sandra) Hineman, Faye Aslinger, Carolyn (Howard) Winters all of Soddy Daisy, Rhonda Sharpe, Mona (Brian) Charlesworth both of Hixson and Jewel Harper of Chattanooga.
Funeral services for Larry will be held Monday at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Darrell Winters officiating. He will be laid to rest next to his wife in Rhea Memory Gardens with military honors.

The family is being served by the Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton where they will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 12 until 6:00pm.
