Tom Vanderwall
Owner, Licensed Director and Embalmer
Tom Vanderwall Owner, Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. Tom was born and raised in Muskegon, MI and graduated from Muskegon College before earning his degree in mortuary science from the Indiana College of Mortuary Science in 1974.
He owned and operated a funeral home in Charlevoix County, MI until moving to Dayton in 1986. Choosing to make Dayton his lifelong home, he transferred his funeral director and embalmer licenses from Michigan to Tennessee.
He is a member of Grace Bible Church, the Dayton Rotary Club and the Dayton Chamber of Commerce.
He and his wife Jan have been married 37 years and have four sons, one daughter and two grandchildren.
Jan Vanderwall
Secretary/Treasurer
Jan Vanderwall Owner. Jan was born and raised in Muskegon, MI. She and her husband Tom have four sons, one daughter and two grandchildren. Jan is a member of Grace Bible Church where she is a mentor for the "Moms4Moms" group and she enjoys sewing and gardening her flowers. (Jan is not licensed Funeral Director).
