Cecile O. Green, age 89 of Dayton, died Thursday, April 2, 2009 at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga. Cecile was born September 16, 1919 in Bledsoe County, the daughter of the late Rev. Floyd and Rebecca (Brown) Dunn.
Cecile lived in Rhea County all of her life and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Mountain View United Methodist Church and Woodmen of the World.
She is survived by her daughter Andrea (Donald) Travis of Centreville, VA, son Jimmy Green of Ann Arbor, MI, sister Ruby Baltimore of Florence, AL, brothers Willis Dunn of Norfolk, VA, Richard Dunn and Everett Dunn, both of Chattanooga, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Cecile will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Billy Ewing officiating. Burial will be in the Pierce Cemetery in Dayton.
