Jeff Carter

Jeffery Wayne Carter, age 35, of Chattanooga and formerly of Dayton, died Tuesday afternoon, December 4, 2013 in Chattanooga. He was born August 18, 1978 in Chattanooga and was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dr. Irving (Charlotte) Jensen and Carlos (Betty) Carter and by his cousin, Bethany Clariday.
Jeff lived in Dayton from 1984 until 1992 when he moved to Chattanooga. He was a graduate of Ooltewah High School and attended U.T.C. for three years. Jeff was a part of the Grace Bible Church family in Dayton and attended Signal Mountain Bible Church.
Jeff is survived by his parents, Philip and Donna (Jensen) Carter of Chattanooga, his sister Melanie Denise Carter of Dayton, his uncles and aunts, Jim and Debby (Carter) Conner of Dayton and Bob and Becky Jensen of Chattanooga and his cousins, Scott McCuiston of Dayton, Kristina, Amaya, Niveah and Karissa Jensen, all of Chattanooga.
Funeral services for Jeff will be held Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Gary Phillips officiating.
